The successful radio show C’EST SI BON broadcast on ICI MUSIQUE and hosted by Claude Saucier will transform itself for the stage and become a dance themed show called C’EST SI BON… DE DANSER !

For this unique occasion, the host of the show Claude Saucier will be joined by the singers Kim Richardson and Marc Hervieux.

A big band of 18 musicians under the direction of Ron Di Lauro will make you re-live the unforgettable melodies of the musical evenings of the 40’s and 50’s, as well as the ballroom ambiance of that era.

All the participants shall be united in an effort to emulate the spirit of the popular musical radio show C’EST SI BON.

Under the artistic direction of Joel Legendre, the show will become a memorable voyage of that era and its music.

The production has formed a talented team of eight musicians and singers carefully selected including multidisciplinary artist Daniel L. Moisan, as artistic director.

Glass Tiger

It all began in the summer of 1984 when a band from Newmarket, Ontario called Tokyo spent two evenings opening for Boy George and Culture Club at Toronto’s Maple Leaf Gardens. Their dynamic, original sound captured the moment of the mid 80’s and led them to signing a record deal with Capitol Records. Tokyo officially became Glass Tiger.

Glass Tiger’s first album The Thin Red Line set a record for being the fastest selling debut recording in Canadian history, going gold within weeks of its release. Following this, the bands next two albums Diamond Sun and Simple Mission, solidified their reputation as being one of Canada’s better song crafters. And they are still going strong, 31 years later.

With their latest album, 31, Glass Tiger is now into the third decade of a phenomenal music career. Recorded in Nashville by fellow Canadian entertainer Johnny Reid, Glass Tiger was guided back to the songs that originally made them stars in Canada and beyond, with a stronger Celtic influence. Just as remarkable, the core band members have maintained a brotherhood built on respect and friendship throughout that journey. Today the band includes original members Alan Frew, Sam Reid, Al Connelly and Chris McNeill who joined in 2000.

Americana is over one half-million albums sold, more than 250,000 spectators, one hundred sold-out concerts and numerous festivals on either side of the Atlantic!

Roch Voisine’s Americana phenomenon will soon be turning 10, and to mark this anniversary, a compilation album will be launched this fall, as well as a series of special concerts created for this occasion and for Quebec, starting in April of 2020.

“I’ve been thinking about this for a while, going back on tour with the Americana songs. People still talk to me about it, often. Years went by and calendars filled up! But, now, exactly 10 years later, the perfect moment has arrived. I still have some wonderful memories of the Americana adventure and I can’t wait to get back to my audience”, says Roch Voisine.
